Ryan is an associate director of college admissions at Sara Harberson. Ryan’s love of learning and travel has guided her throughout her adult life. Her first trip abroad was studying in Rome as a Classics and Archaeology major. After graduating from Bowdoin College, she went on to get her master’s and doctorate degrees in Roman archaeology, where she was fortunate enough to spend much of her time living, excavating, and teaching in many countries around the Mediterranean. After several years in academia at Notre Dame and Bowdoin, she turned to admissions where she developed a deeper understanding of the institution and the student experience. Currently living in Australia, she brings to Sara Harberson a deep love of learning, a passion for supporting families and students throughout the admissions process, and a true affinity for dogs.
